As the 2024 softball season kicks off, we’re taking a look at the top teams in VHSL Class 6 and providing an early top 10. Based on the previous records, the returning state champions, the McLean Highlanders, look to be the presumptive favorite with all but two starters returning. The Madison Warhawks have graduated key contributors– but they are a consistent powerhouse with talented players ready to step up. Osbourn Park returns a strong team, and should be a state contender in June.

Love to see these rankings come out, and McLean get some recognition over Madison. Maybe they can get a Regional Championship this year!
