Clutch wins led the slate, with Rappahannock beating King William 4-2 while Deep Run topped Glen Allen 4-2. Northumberland edged Westmoreland 6-5, and Atlee delivered the day’s tightest result with a 1-0 victory over Patrick Henry (Ashland).
Shutout statements followed across the board: Hayfield blanked Edison 11-0, Matoaca handled Prince George 10-0, Broadway dispatched East Rockingham 5-0, and George Wythe kept Giles off the board 4-0.
The bats boomed elsewhere as Langley rolled past Wakefield 17-2, Lake Braddock defeated South County 10-3, and Chilhowie topped Rural Retreat 10-3. Franklin County controlled Staunton River 9-1, Colgan turned back Forest Park 6-1, and MadisonHS handled Oakton 10-1.
